Sue Daniels: Child Care Committee Chair
Sue Daniels' passion for children and education is obvious to anyone who knows her. As owner and director of Early Learning Preschool and Child Care Center in Vidor, Sue has helped hundreds of children make a successful transition into public schools. Prior to founding her child care business, she was a teacher and administrator for the Vidor Independent School District.
In 2007, Sue was nominated to the Board by Orange County Judge Carl Thibodeaux . She has served two years on the nominating committee, this year as the Nomination Committee Chair for 2010 Election of Officers. Because of her extensive experience and expertise in child care centers and programs, Daniels is a tremendous asset to the Board as Chair of the Child Care Committee and member of the Youth Committee.
“I’m proud to be a member of the Board,” says Daniels. “Each sector of our community and economy is well-represented by experienced professionals. Our goals are the same: to provide training opportunities, employment assistance and child care assistance for the betterment of everyone in our area. My time spent serving the Board is time well spent!”
When Sue takes a break from her businesses (she is also owner of Gary’s Gun Shop in Vidor), she enjoys travel, flower gardening, and sharing her Historic District home in Beaumont with family and friends. Sue also volunteers her time with the Beaumont Junior League and as a docent for the McFaddin-Ward House Museum. |
